One Punch Man: Where to Read After Season 3
- Anime Ended: Season 3, Episode 12 (Episode 36 overall — “Ultimate Lifeform”)
- Manga Jump: Chapter 117+ (Volume 24)
- Recommended Version: Yusuke Murata Manga (Tankōbon / Volume Release)
- Adaptation Note: Season 3 (Part 1) concludes with Saitama’s clash against King Orochi and Tatsumaki cornering Gyoro Gyoro deep within the Monster Association hideout. Chapter 117 begins the direct aftermath and the escalation into the surface-level executive cadre battles. Make sure to read Yusuke Murata’s illustrated manga via official volume prints (tankōbon) or VIZ/Manga Plus rather than ONE’s original webcomic drafts to keep continuity with the anime.
What Season 3 Skipped or Altered
- The Exact Cutoff Point: Season 3 of the anime concludes at Manga Chapter 116, bringing the clash against King Orochi and the deep Monster Association infiltration to a close. Chapter 117 marks the official start of the surface reorganization and the executive cadre counterattacks.
- Omitted Redraw Details (Chapter 115–116): Because Yusuke Murata heavily revised several fight choreographies and monster lore details between digital magazine releases and the collected volumes (tankōbon), the anime synthesized the finalized volume canon. If you want the full context of how Orochi and the underground shrine were framed in Murata’s definitive art, begin your read at Chapter 115.
- Manga Status: The manga remains actively serialized, and the Monster Association raid continues across dozens of extended chapters. Reading ahead delivers the complete Saitama vs. Garou climax long before future anime seasons arrive.
